When I was younger I was really into closed species and I had several of them, but then I lost interest and I don't really draw them anymore. I gave him a kind of complicated design with lots of plants and stuff, and then I never drew him again or commissioned art

i left deviantart because I had art block for a few months and I didn't feel like making anything. do you think i should come back and post the art i make? deviantart kind of discouraged me from drawing because I was comparing myself to better artists.
you should definitely! i feel the same way a lot too. you just have to remember that no matter how skilled you are, people will always be better than you, and a lot of that is because of age. youre extremely skilled and lovely and i would love to see more of your stuff!!! id let art that you think is ''better'' than yours inspire you to be that good rather than discourage you<3
